DUAL IFR LOCAL
1) Ceiling and visibility that allow for takeoff, approach and landing at KGRB.

DUAL IFR CROSS-COUNTRY
1) Ceiling and visibility that allow for takeoff, approach and landing at KGRB.
2) Ceilings and visibility at destination airport that allow for takeoff, approach
and landing.

Student Pilot SOLO LOCAL
1) Traffic pattern: 2000’ceiling & 5 statute miles visibility.
2) Practice area: 3000’ceiling & 5 statute mile visibility.
3) Maximum wind not to exceed 20 knots. Crosswind component not to exceed
10 knots.

Student Pilot SOLO CROSS-COUNTRY
1) 5000’ceiling & 7 statute miles visibility.
2) Maximum wind not to exceed 20 knots. Crosswind component not to exceed
10 knots.
3) All landings are to be done to a full stop with taxi back. No touch and goes are allowed.

 

APPROVED Operations at various Temperatures: (NEVER FLY IF BELOW 0 degrees F.)

  • Cessna Aircraft WITH winterization kits INSTALLED:

    • No pattern work -or- Stalls below 10⁰F

    • DO NOT FLY → if below 0⁰F

    • DO NOT FLY → if the winterization kit is installed above POH limits. 

    • DO NOT FLY → if the winterization kit is NOT installed below POH limits. 

  • Cirrus Aircraft:

    • Observe Limitations in POH

    • No pattern work/Stalls below 10⁰F

    • DO NOT FLY if below 0⁰F

  • All other aircraft (Cessna or Light Sport without Winterization Kits):

    • No pattern work/Stalls below 20⁰F

    • DO NOT FLY if below 10⁰F
